Lifeline Veterinary Care Program

At WCVC, we believe every pet deserves access to compassionate, high-quality care—no matter their owner’s financial situation. The Lifeline Veterinary Care Program is our commitment to ensuring low-income families can access essential veterinary services, bridging the gap in care and fostering healthier, happier lives for pets and their families.

This program offers subsidized and free services, including spay/neuter procedures, vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, and urgent surgeries. By removing financial barriers, we help pets stay healthy and remain with their loving families, reducing shelter surrenders and promoting the human-animal bond.

Saved Lives Thanks to Lifeline

Thanks to your generous donation to our Lifeline Veterinary Care Program, these animals were given a second chance at life and the care they required.

Fizzgig

Fizzgig

After a rough patch left him skinny, severely matted, and suffering from advanced dental disease, Fizzgig finally found relief through WCVC. With help from the Lifeline Veterinary Care Program, he received a thorough dental cleaning, full mouth extractions, and surgery to remove some potentially painful masses — giving him a fresh start and a much brighter future.

Ona

Ona

For unspayed female dogs like sweet Ona, pyometra (a dangerous uterine infection) can pose an urgent threat. By utilizing the support of the Lifeline Veterinary Care Program, WCVC was able to turn a once scary situation into a life-saving intervention. Ona received the critical surgery she needed just in time, thanks in part to the resources provided by this impactful program.

Gingie

Gingie

After a serious urinary blockage and hospitalization, this happy boy's condition turned critical and necessitated surgical intervention.

With help from the Lifeline Veterinary Care Program, WCVC was able to perform a Perineal Urethrostomy (PU) surgery to alleviate the blockage and ensure long-term comfort and relief for Gingie, as well as his family back home.
